BRANDING | PRINT DESIGN
Prior to joining the staff full-time, I took on the personal project of rebranding the company's logo and identity. For a while I had been using the original logo for various marketing projects and kept running into flexibility issues.
With the previous logo having such a unique balance of positive and negative space, along with a specific aesthetic, you were limited in the different directions you could take and apply the brand.
My goal for the new brand was to give the original logo a new, modern, simplified feel with using only single-color, keeping it easy to embroider, and having a strong logomark.
When I joined full-time, they decided to go with the new branding and one of my first tasks was implementing it throughout the business, from the road sign out front to buisness cards on the desks.
LAYOUT DESIGN
Red Brick was looking to create a collection of various lakewear designs and a catalog to showcase them to potential or current customers. The catalog is mainly geared towards the summer season for retail shops in lake regions.
Each year the products in the catalog will be updated to follow current styles and trends to keep the customer's inventory relevant.
T-SHIRT DESIGN
These are the six designs created for the Lakewear Catalog. All designs (except "Hike NH") were created specifically have text customized to the customer's need.
BRAND DESIGN
A family member runs a local childcare center and was looking for a logo redesign. They never really had a proper logo outside of common clip art and text. One of the requirements was that they wanted to get both embroidered and screen-printed apparel, so the logo needed to be flexible.
Keeping the idea of "building blocks" in mind, I came up with a versatile design that you can move around into different combinations without breaking branding. The simple two-color design keeps printing costs down and the elements are bold enough for it to sew well.
EDITORIAL DESIGN | LAYOUT DESIGN
A magazine designed to give adults aged 18 to 30 inspiration, tips, and latest products to help take full advantage of living in the city on a budget. A typical issue will have one or two featured articles for inspiration and regular departments designed to help make that inspiration real. The magazine is bi-monthly, and focuses on a different city for each issue.
Each issue has two feature articles focused on local architects or local innovations in that city as well as realistically priced items that help get the most value out of your dollar.

A co-worker was running the 2018 Boston Marathon for the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation and asked me to design shirts she could use as a fundraiser. The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation works to raise awareness for congenital heart defects and supports families whose children have been diagnosed with such conditions.

INFORMATION DESIGN
An infographic depicting my personal viewing of the TV show, Doctor Who. The show is about a time-traveling alien who goes on adventures with various companions. Often, the main character, the Doctor, ends up visiting places and events out of order. This theme of messy out-of-order travel is something I chose to highlight in this project, as I did not watch the show in order from start to finish.

MASCOT/LOGO DESIGN
One of my first projects at Red Brick was a rebrand for a local youth football and cheer organization, the Hudson-Litchfield Bears. They had rotated through a couple different basic logos, but never had one they really settled on. My task was to create a unique mascot/logo that gave the organization a more modern athletic feel and professional appearance. I was given the text to be used and the main color of blue and went to work.
